During a creative slump, I decided to design a series of nature badges, inspired by my love for fly fishing and conservation. Wanting to put them to good use, I reached out to Jamie Vaughn at Trout Unlimited to see if they could be used for upcoming river cleanups. She agreed, and TU covered the cost of printing the stickers. My wife and I joined the effort, spending the day cleaning up the Rogue River.
A few years later, Jamie reached out again—this time for a design to represent their conservation team in the field. What started as a simple sticker to promote their work evolved into a sharp-looking hoodie, made specifically for the TU team. Due to overwhelming public interest, Trout Unlimited decided to do a limited run, making the hoodies available to the public.
